Class Registration Policy

By enrolling in TONGWOOD Child's program, you are committing to your child’s participation for the full session (or what’s remaining of the session if already in progress), and your credit card will be charged in full or monthly over the course of the semester. The price of the class will be automatically pro-rated if you register at after the session has commenced.

Class Early Termination Policy

If you must terminate your child’s class participation at any time during the class session, you may receive a full credit or transfer your child to another class if space permits. Refunds will not be issued for a client’s early termination of a class. If TONGWOOD must cancel a class due to weather, illness, or other circumstances, you may request a full refund or credit to use towards any future program at TONGWOOD .

Class Make Up Policy

Make up classes can be requested for classes missed due to illness or symptoms, and they will be scheduled for a class immediately before or after the absence (capacity permitting). TONGWOOD may not allow a make up past the week the absence occurs and does not issue credits for missed classes.

Class Transfers

You may request your child to be transferred to another class during TONGWOOD's class session (capacity permitting). Students cannot be transferred into a woodworking classic already in session.

Class Packs

Class packs are non-transferrable between clients and expire 12 months from date of purchase. Class packs and memberships are only valid at the Brookline & Quincy location and not at any affiliate partner sites.

Program Registrations

You may register for a class, workshop, or program in person, by calling, or online. We highly recommend online registrations. You must book at least 2 hours before a class or workshop and 24 hours before a drop-in class. Class spots may be given away to another client on the class waitlist if you fail to show up at the start of the session.

Class and Workshop Cancellations

You must cancel at least 24 hours prior to a workshop or class to allow another client to join on the waitlist. Clients with class packages will have one class automatically deducted from their total classes. If you are unable to attend a scheduled class or workshop that you’re registered for, you may request a full credit for use towards a future program.

Vacation Program Policy

To secure a vacation program spot, the initial deposit must be received at time of booking. All cancellations made more than 30 days prior to program start date may request a refund or credit minus a $50 cancellation fee. The cancellation fee for Extended Day or Early Drop-off is $5 per day. All cancellations made within 30 days of the program start date are nonrefundable. If a family schedule changes, program spots may be transferred to different program sessions if space allows.
