ART AND
EDUCATION
Art isn’t just learned. It’s discovered. At TONGWOOD, we blend traditional techniques with creative exploration. We offers joyful art classes, workshops, camps, and parties where children- and children at heart- will engage with diverse materials, celebrate play and promote artistic growth.

Studio Art®

Explore art through weekly themes inspired by different cultures and art movements. We work with open-ended projects using both 2D and 3D materials through painting, collaging, sprinkling, combining, attaching, smooshing, smearing, splatting, and all the joyful actions in our studio that build creativity, confidence, social/emotional growth, and fun.

After-School
Art Lab

The Art Lab combines guided creative studio time with group painting and drawing lessons. Students have the opportunity to learn fine art techniques then apply the principles to their own creations with teacher support. For parents, this option also provides the benefit of flexible after-school arrival.
