OCTOBER AT TONGWOOD
October Looks Good in the Studio 🍂
Fall is settling in, bringing new colors, materials, and ideas into the studio. From autumn-inspired projects to a few spooky creations, there's plenty taking shape this October.
And there's more to come! We're introducing The Little Soirée, our new Kids' Night Out for ages 7–10, happening on select Fridays. Each gathering brings a different creative workshop, games, and new friends. Our first one kicks off on October 30!
Winter is on our minds, too. ❄️ There's something special about watching the snow fall outside while staying warm in the studio, making art with friends. Registration for Winter Art Camp is now open!
What we're making this October
From painting and collage to 3D construction, each project introduces new materials, techniques, and ways of thinking.
Children learn to explore possibilities, make their own creative decisions, and bring their ideas to life. And of course, develop their own sense of style along the way.
From sketching to painting, students strengthen their artistic foundations while exploring new ideas, experimenting with techniques, and developing their own creative voice.
Through mixed media exploration and painting, students develop technical skills, investigate visual composition, and experiment with different approaches to artistic expression.
We look forward to seeing how each student interprets the Halloween theme through their own unique perspective.
