Service Description

► Class Overview Art Lab is an extended art class where students have time to slow down, explore ideas, and create more complete artwork. Each class is made up of two main parts: guided creative studio time and a group painting and drawing lesson. During studio time, students work on their own projects with teacher support, developing ideas through sketching, planning, and experimentation. In the group lesson, the teacher introduces painting and drawing skills, such as composition, color mixing, and how to use materials which students then apply to their own work. ► Sample Class Format 👩‍🏫 Independent creative studio time (personal projects) 👩‍🏫 Group painting & drawing lesson 👩‍🏫 Studio work with individual teacher guidance 👩‍🏫 Refining and completing artwork ► What student'll learn 🌱 How to develop and organize creative ideas 🌱 Painting and drawing skills 🌱 Focus and patience during longer projects 🌱 How to solve problems and revise work 🌱 How to express ideas visually 🌱 Confidence in completing finished artwork ► Note • Students may arrive after school and begin their own project with personalized guidance. Our guided group lesson starts at 4:00pm, so we encourage everyone to arrive before then. Please note that students may stay for up to 3 hours, with pickup no later than 7:00pm. • This class is best for students who already have some art experience and are comfortable working independently with teacher support. • Class size: minimum 3, maximum 6–8 students (depending on room size) • Online booking closes 12 hours before class.
